Gold Seal Mechanical, Inc. was founded nearly 45 years ago by Robert Dixon, Sr and Richard Dixon as a plumbing company dedicated to providing superior service to all of our clients.

From a small 2-man shop the company has grown into one of the region’s largest plumbing contracting firms.  Richard Dixon is the current president and CEO, with the 3rd generation Chris Dixon and Robert W Dixon heading up sections of the new construction operation.  Two of the fourth generation are working as trainees and are nearly ready to test for their journeyman’s license.

Gold Seal Mechanical, Inc. was the plumbing contractor on the historic Davenport Hotel renovation, the Doubletree renovation as well as being the new construction plumber on major motels throughout the area.

On the commercial side, Gold Seal Mechanical, Inc. has been the plumbing contractor of choice on big box stores, including Lowe’s, Best Buy, Fred Meyer, Wal-Mart and many others.  Retirement Centers, garden apartments and condos are all part of the day to day operation. On major commercial projects Gold Seal Mechanical, Inc. works from the Puget Sound area into Western Montana, including many apartment and motel projects in the Tri-Cities areas.

Gold Seal Mechanical, Inc. has trained staff licensed to install medical gas, natural gas and perform backflow device testing and repair.

The Heating division of Gold Seal Mechanical, Inc. specializes in hydronic  heat, including the use of air to ground and air to air heat exchangers, in-floor systems and boiler and furnace replacement.  Dan Eaton heads the heating division.

Gold Seal Plumbing is currently the largest service plumbing company in the area, with over 25 trucks providing complete plumbing, heating, and drain cleaning services to Spokane metro and Coeur d’Alene, Id areas. We provide service on a 24/7 emergency basis and scheduled Saturday work is done at regular prices.

Each of Gold Seal’s service trucks carries nearly $10,000 in inventory to provide the best possible experience for the service clients. Over 80% of all service calls are repeat or referrals, a testimony to the dedication of the field staff. Dennis Fanara heads the service operation.

Gold Seal’s employee training program keeps our professionals abreast of the current products, tools, techniques,  and trends. Gold Seal was the first licensed Green Plumber USA in Eastern Washington. We believe in water conservation in an area of abundant water because water conservation also reduces the demand on our over- taxed sewage disposal system.

Gold Seal recognizes the importance of all employees and insists on an industry leading safety program. There is nothing we do each day that is more important than sending the employees home to their family safe and sound each evening. Our attention to safety issues is recognized by Washington State with a very low labor and industry insurance premium.

It takes a well organized office to manage the men and materials. Gold Seal Mechanical, Inc. is proud to have JoAnn Dixon as the office manager who also assumes the accounts payable responsibilities. Susan Anderson heads the accounts receivable section of Gold Seal, and Glynnis Luu leads the call center operation. Without these people and their staff, Gold Seal could not service its large client base.
