Meet Robert Dixon

Meet Robert Dixon

Robert Dixon holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer of Gold Seal Mechanical, Inc. He is also the Commercial Department estimator.

If they had enforced child labor laws back then, Robert may not have been able to begin working in the Family plumbing business when he was ten years old. Robert listened to the returning plumbers talk about their jobs, he learned about plumbing fitting and how to thread pipe. By the time he was able to go into the field as a trainee, he was already advanced. Robert continued his training under some of the most demanding journeyman, those who did not care whose kid he was, they just wanted perfection, and he gave it to them. Robert graduated from Central Valley High School in 1983 and has had his Journeyman Plumbing License since 1990, 30 years of plumbing.

His daily duties include project estimating and the overall operations of the Commercial Department. He is always trying to get more work for the Commercial Department. He, with the help of his superintendent, make sure the projects are completed on time and within budget. He also makes sure the plumbers are taken care of. Robert is a gentle and easygoing guy.

Robert is very involved in the local chapter of IAPMO. Once holding a term on the board.

Robert has been married to Lori for 30 years and they have 3 children, Austin, Amanda, and Amelie, as well as two dogs. Austin and Amanda both are employed at the family business.

Robert enjoys watching the Dallas Cowboys and a great round of golf. Robert and his family love to vacation on the Oregon Coast where they walk the beach and look for treasures. Robert is a true family man. He enjoys being around and spending his time with his family.

Robert is striving to keep Gold Seal Mechanical Inc. the largest plumbing shop in the Greater Spokane Area.
